Scholarship Applications

This scholarship fund is intended to promote jazz education by providing financial assistance to students studying jazz performance, composition, etc. The scholarship committee awards scholarships to students upon review of the application and references. Our scholarship funds are available to students 18 years and younger. All scholarship requests must be submitted with a letter of reference from his/her music teacher and another adult who knows the applicant’s musical goals.

Amount of scholarship

The scholarships are for $50, $75 or $100 for rental or toward purchase of instruments, private lessons in jazz, or for musical materials and/or equipment. Gift certificates will be given for Chesbros, Mike’s Music, or Piano Gallery; a check will be disbursed for lessons directly to your private jass teacher.
